JobJitsu is built to know as little about you as possible. No account, no email, no password — and the content you share during practice is processed, not stored. This policy explains what data the JobJitsu app and the jobjitsu.app website handle and why.
1. What we don’t collect
- No name, email address or phone number — there is no registration.
- No stored recordings: your voice answers are transcribed and then discarded.
- No stored résumés: an uploaded résumé is parsed in memory for your session and never saved.
- No advertising trackers and no sale of personal data.
- Your content is not used to train AI models.
2. What we process
- Device identity. A hardware-backed device attestation (Apple App Attest / Google Play Integrity) and an anonymous identifier tie your credit balance to your device — this is how JobJitsu works without accounts.
- Interview inputs. Your chosen role, company name, spoken answers and optional résumé are sent to our servers and trusted AI providers to run the interview and generate your report. Audio and résumé content are discarded after processing.
- Interview results. Transcripts, reports and scores are kept so you can revisit them in your history.
- Purchase data. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and reconciled through RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. We never see your payment details.
- Basic diagnostics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage and crash data that keep the Service reliable.
3. AI processing
Interviews are powered by third-party AI providers (for speech recognition, the interviewer conversation, text-to-speech and report generation). Your session content is shared with them only to deliver the interview, under agreements that prohibit using it for their own purposes, and only for the duration of processing.
4. Web research
If you name a target company, our system performs a brief public web search about that company to prepare your interview. This search contains the company name and role — not your personal information.
5. Data retention
- Audio: discarded immediately after transcription.
- Résumé: discarded after in-session parsing.
- Transcripts, reports and scores: kept while your device account is active so your history works.
- Purchase records: kept as required for accounting and fraud prevention.
6. Your choices and rights
- Practice without a résumé or company name — both are optional.
- Deleting the app removes its local data; your purchase account persists so credits can be restored via the store.
- Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete data associated with your device account. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted, and device attestation prevents tampering with credit balances. No system is perfectly secure, but storing almost nothing is the best protection we can give you.
8. Children
JobJitsu is intended for people of working age and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly process data of children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
