These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the JobJitsu mobile application and the jobjitsu.app website (together, the “Service”). By installing the app or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What JobJitsu is
JobJitsu is an interview practice tool. It runs simulated, AI-powered mock interviews and produces automated feedback and scores. JobJitsu is not a recruitment service, does not represent any employer, and its questions, personas, feedback and scores are simulations — they do not predict or guarantee the outcome of any real interview or hiring decision.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use JobJitsu only for lawful, personal, non-commercial practice. You must not:
- use the Service during a real interview or assessment, or to deceive an employer;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- use the Service to generate unlawful, harmful or infringing content;
- resell, share or transfer interview credits outside the app.
3. No account; device identity
JobJitsu does not require registration. Your access is tied to your device and, for purchases, to an anonymous purchase account managed by our payment infrastructure. If you lose access to your device, use Restore Purchases on your new device to recover your credit balance.
4. Free trial, credits and purchases
- New users receive 1 free interview.
- Additional interviews are sold as consumable packs (one-time purchases) through the Apple App Store or Google Play. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
- Credits never expire.
- One credit is consumed when an interview session starts.
- Purchases are processed by Apple or Google; refunds follow the store’s refund policies.
5. Interview sessions
Sessions are designed to last up to 30 minutes and are hard-capped at 35 minutes. A session ends when the interview concludes, when you end it, or when the cap is reached. Reports are generated automatically after the session and may take a few minutes.
6. AI-generated content
Interview questions, interviewer personas, feedback, model answers and scores are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate despite our safeguards, and are provided for practice purposes only — not as professional career advice.
7. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you provide (your voice answers and optional résumé). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to run your interview and generate your report. We do not store your audio or résumé after processing — see the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding your content), is owned by JobJitsu and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your devices.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that practice will lead to any employment outcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobJitsu’s total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
11. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Unused credits are forfeited on termination for breach.
